Dr Michelle P. Brown was formerly the Curator of Illuminated Manuscripts at the British Library and Professor of Medieval Manuscripts Studies at the School of Advanced Study, University of London, where she now holds the status of Professor Emerita. Dr Brown’s visit has been sponsored by the Thomas Fisher Rare Book Library and the reception by the Centre for Medieval Studies.
