Friends of the Library 2014 Project
For its special project this year, the Friends of the Library are raising funds to help acquire a beautiful facsimile of the Pamplona Bible and to complete our holdings of the journal Hortus Artium Mediaevalium, in honour of the late Roger Reynolds.
The Pamplona Bible, a picture bible created around 1200 in Navarra for King Sancho el Fuerte (1153–1234), will complement other gifts of the Friends, notably the equally sumptuous facsimile of the Bible of St Louis purchased some years ago. Those wishing to contribute to this campaign may print and fill out the online PDF form, and send their contribution to the address provided; see the Friends of the Library webpage for details.
