The Institute’s Toronto–Rome Programme in Manuscript Studies will return to Rome in the summer of 2025. The courses to be offered are MSST 1003: Textual Editing, to be taught by Dr Stephen M. Metzger of the Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, and MSST 1004: Special Subject: “Via sanctorum: Canonization in the Middle Ages,” to be taught by William J. Dohar of Santa Clara University and M. Michèle Mulchahey, the Leonard E. Boyle Professor in Manuscript Studies at the Pontifical Institute of Mediaeval Studies.
