Microhistory on the Medieval Church of Thame
The PIMS Library is acknowledged in a forthcoming book on the conflict over the church of Thame between 1292 and 1294.
Andrew Miller, who received his MA in medieval history at the University of Toronto in 1995, thanks the library at PIMS in the acknowledgements of his book Patronage, Power, and Masculinity in Medieval England, which investigates a riveting, richly documented conflict from thirteenth-century England over church property and ecclesiastical patronage. The book is part of the Microhistories series from Routledge, and is set to come out in March 2023.
