Mercedes Rubio
Mercedes Rubio is a lecturer and researcher with a BA and Research Thesis (equivalent to MA) in Philosophy from the University of Navarra, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has published in the fields of Greek, Latin, Hebrew and Arabic Philosophy, transcendental anthropology, theory of knowledge and philosophy of language. She is currently carrying out a long-term research project on the notion of person as hermeneutic key for understanding the history of philosophy, and its transcendental relation to the development of better known metaphysical and epistemological notions like human nature and human reason. She has an interest in semiotics.
