PIMS Author to be Awarded the 2026 Menno Hertzberger Prize
Congratulations to Theodor Dunkelgrün, author of The Multiplicity of Scripture, who in November will be awarded the 2026 Menno Hertzberger Prize.
The triennial Menno Hertzberger prize, the most significant prize for the history of the printed book in the Low Countries, is named after Menno Hertzberger (1897–1982), a Dutch antiquarian, publisher, and bibliophile who dedicated his life to the book in all its forms. Earlier laureates include Isabella van Eeghen, Wytze Hellinga, Lotte Hellinga-Querido, Leon Voet, Paul Valkema Blouw, Bert Van Selm, Ton Croiset van Uchelen, and Andrew Pettegree.
