Congratulations to Shannon Wearing, Mellon Fellow in 2020–2021 and current Visiting Scholar at PIMS, who has co-edited a volume that has just been published by De Gruyter.
Illuminating Metalwork: Metal, Object, and Image in Medieval Manuscripts, edited by Joseph Salvatore Ackley and Shannon L. Wearing, represents the first in-depth scholarly assessment of the depiction of precious-metal objects in manuscripts and the media used to conjure them.
