The Institute is pleased to announce a new course offering for the Winter term 2018, to be taught by the Institute's Leonard E. Boyle Professor of Manuscript Studies and Director of PIMS' Rome-Toronto Programme in Manuscript Studies, M. Michèle Mulchahey, together with Institute Fellow and Librarian, Greti Dinkova-Bruun.

Running from 8 January to 19 March, PIMS 1: Latin Palaeography will introduce participants to medieval handwriting in the Latin West from the late Roman Period to the dawn of print, and the Institute’s own collection of medieval manuscripts will be used for in-class practica.
