Chris Nighman

Dr. Chris Nighman is Professor of History and Coordinator of the Medieval and Medievalism Studies Program at Wilfrid Laurier University.  As Visiting Scholar, Dr. Nighman hopes (1) to refine several existing digital resources, including his own critical edition of Thomas of Ireland’s Manipulus florum, (2) to complete his ongoing online edition of Geremia da Montagnone's Compendium moralium notabilium, (3) to continue his work on online editions of various Latin translations of Chrysostom’s 90 homilies on Matthew, and (4) to continue ongoing editorial work on Burgundio of Pisa’s Latin translation of John Chrysostom’s 88 homilies on the Gospel of John. He is also lead co-editor of a collection of papers on exile in the Middle Ages in preparation for PIMS Publications.
