Symposium: 19–20 October 2018
Mediaeval Studies, the multidisciplinary study of the European Middle Ages, is a discipline integral to the University of Toronto. The seeds of the enterprise were planted almost a hundred years ago on the campus of St Michael’s College.

Professor Elza Tiner, who holds a Licentiate from the Institute and was also Visiting Fellow this past spring and summer, is helping curate an exhibit entitled “Image + Text in Renaissance Folios.”

A book sale of medieval titles, duplicates of works already present in the PIMS Library's collection, will be open to the public from 2 October to 3 October 2015.

James Carley, Associate Fellow at the Institute, has been featured in a recent article in The Guardian. While visiting the library at Lanhydrock in Cornwall, Carley discovered a book that he identified as having belonged to King Henry VIII.
