An Award for a PIMS Volume
We are delighted to announce that Henry Constable, The Complete Poems, edited by María Jesús Pérez-Jáuregui, has received a prestigious award.
The Asociación Española de Estudios Anglo-Norteamericanos (Spanish Association for English and North American Studies) or AEDEAN has awarded its Premio de Investigación de Literatura en Lengua Inglesa (Award for Research in English Literary Studies) to Henry Constable: The Complete Poems, edited by María Jesús Pérez-Jáuregui (University of Seville). The book appears in our series Catholic and Recusant Texts of the Late Medieval and Early Modern Periods, edited by Freddy Dominguez (University of Arkansas), Ann M. Hutchison (York University and PIMS), Michael Questier (University of Durham), and Alison Shell (University College London).
The aim of the Asociación is to “encourage, stimulate and promote in Spain the study and research of language, literature, linguistics, critical theory, geography, institutions and, in general, the culture of English-speaking countries.” Its current membership of about 1,200 people includes professors, lecturers, and graduate students, from universities in Spain and abroad.
Congratulations María!
